The Princess and the Goblin

Length: 62 min.

Ages/Content: preteen-adult/surreal elements

Release: JUNE 12

Synopsis:

Based on one of Scottish author/minister George MacDonald's better-known classics, this You Connection variation tells the tale of a young foster girl who discovers her house is a portal to a fantastical subterranean world of fantastic beings, a symbolic story of the supernatural battle between light and dark, and discovering your identity in Christ. Though You Connection may not agree with all aspects of George MacDonald's personal theology, he was nevertheless a groundbreaking pioneer in Christian fiction and influencer of later Christian writers such as C.S. Lewis, Oswald Chambers, and J.R.R. Tolkien, and we are thrilled to produce updated versions of his works for a brand new audience! Click on the YC icon to download the film from Vimeo for free!
